Sunday, Nov. 24, 2002 - 2:02 p.m. alright, i'm back. tonight is going to be a big hit. one of my friends from chapel hill is coming up too. i haven't seen her in a while. i'm glad i'll see her now b/c she is leaving for california the middle of december and then going to autrailia for a year in january. gonna miss her. never mind the fact that i haven't seen her in a while, it's the fact that i know she's close and now she'll be far away. anyway, back to my dinner. it's gonna be so awesome. let me tell you the menu. i went to the honeybaked ham store yesterday and got the ham and turkey. yea! i am currently making mac & cheese since everyone says they will only eat mine. just great. maybe i should fix two boxes....be right back. alright, that is done. i made a sweet potato pie last night...actually two, but they're only getting one. now for what others are brining. pumpkin cheesecake, strawberry pie, cherry pie, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole, some other type of casserole, grape leaves, cranberry sauce and i think that may be it. i have a feeling someone is going to bring something else and that is fine. the more the merrier. i was really thinking everyone was gonna just come and not bring anything, but i have only gotten positive feed back from them. everyone is bringing stuff so i don't have to shell out any more money than i am. i love my friends for this. i'm truly excited about this. i've been up since 9:30a.m. that had more to do w/ me going to church than getting stuff ready for today, but i was still working then. what i really want to do now to take a long deserved nap, but i can do that later. like tomorrow. i have the day off and i know it is a well needed day off. while kamilah is taking her exam and handing in her project, i'll be resting. when she gets back, then we'll start having some fun. i've got to go to the store and get some beer, too. well, like i said before, i just wanted to do a little update before my big event happens. i feel a little headache coming on, but it's all good. i can handle a little headache. as long as no one breaks any of my crystal, i'll be fine. until later....peace, love and unity...that's the 311 way. |
