Thursday, May. 23, 2002 - 8:42 a.m. so i wake up this morning, the first thing on my mind was finding out who called...well, after brushing my teeth, of course. but i love anticipation, no matter how much i say i don't and i have a certain order that i do everything in the morning. that meant i wouldn't be able to find out who called until i was about to eat my quick breakfast, which is right before i leave in the morning. that's about 45 minutes after i wake up. (everything has to be done a certain way for me in the morning, or i have a fit. first shower, then brushing teeth, washing face, put in contacts, weather channel, lotion on body, deoderant, clothes, hair, make up then breakfast.) well, finally i make it into the living room to see who had the balls to call me that late at night when most people know i will be asleep. i should have known it would be this idiot, but damn...IT WAS RON! i could not believe it. i didn't recognize who it was at first and, of course, he didn't leave his name. when i put him out of my mind, i really did. i didn't recognize the number b/c it was his cell phone, duh. this was the longest message. let me tell you, that just lit me up this morning. i was so pissed off, i could have spit fire. but i am being calm...i have calmed down tremendously. he's an idiot, point blank. i am not even going to take the time to call him and tell him never to call me that late again. no, i have already done that at least 4 times in the past year. it doesn't work. so i will just ignore him and if he continues to make calls to me at that time, i will just have to block his number. i pay for the service, might as well utilize it, right. well, i think i will start the day now. i have been at work since 7:30a.m. well, somewhere around that time. i am sure i will add another entry soon. oh, for those of you who have not seen the 311 video 'amber' yet, know that it is already on rotation on mtv, yes, it's on mtv2, muchtv and mtv so look out, peeps. they are #2 on the rock chart (alien ant farm is #3 with 'attitude and incubus is #1 with 'warning) so keep looking for them to climb the chart. just a side note. i always find it funny how bands that go on tour with 311 end up being really popular. take this for example, incubus went on tour with 311 in 2000 and alien ant farm went on tour with them last year and this year it was hoobastank. yep, hoobastank is moving up the charts. anyone who watches the rock countdown knows that hoobastank is one of the main bands moving up the chart. just goes to show, once you get some of that 311 energy on you, there is nowhere else left to go but up! |
