1. be married with a spouse and kids, love them, but be broke.
the movie, kingdom come, has all these scenerios. it's a black comedy and there is a happy ending. if you haven't seen it, see it. i stayed up until 1:45a.m. this morning watching that. it was too good. just to let you know some of the actors/actresses in this movie, there is jada pinkett-smith, l.l. cool j, vivca fox, cedric the entertainer, whoopi golberg, tony braxton, the oldest son on the show 'family matters', the older woman on 'waiting to exhale', the chubby body guard on 'romeo must die'(you know, the one who was supposed to follow aaliyah around all the time with so much mouth)...and there were more people, but those are just the main characters. i think i am going to get that dvd. that movie made me laugh so hard, and it ain't to make me laugh at 1:00a.m. in the morning when i know i have to get up at 6:30a.m. now, i do not like movies, but this is one that i would watch again and again. it's a typical black family's actions when a someone dies. it might sound sad, but it is nothing but sad. growing up in a black family, i KNOW these things happen for real, and they are funny. for example, someone jumping in the caskett at the funeral or wake. let me tell you, my great aunt hassie belle did that at my grandma's wake and my aunt louise did that at both her parents funerals and ma fairley's. yes, i even bet that she would show out and do it. i won. again, you HAVE to see this movie! then tell me which choice would you make. |
